FAQs

  • Period products have been around for decades - we're not pretending to have re-invented the wheel. For My Sisters is all about shining a light on 'period panic' and the very real obstacles it creates. Our products are specifically designed to mitigate those risks and support ongoing achievement.

We also want to support women, wherever they find themselves - not just in the comfort of their own home - which is why our kits are made for extreme conditions. We're there for you during that secluded camping trip down the river; during the blistering heat of desert summer, where you're stationed for work; or on the one day a year you get caught out and are glad you don't have to deal with the dusty pad that's come apart in your handbag.

  • Our tampons and pads are made from 100% biodegradable organic cotton - all the way from the outer layer through to the core and string. Each is sealed in compostable film. Our products are free from harsh chemicals, pesticides, and fragrances - we're Australian Certified Organic (ACO) and Vegan Australia Certified.

  • Our products are 100% biodegradable, which means that no matter how they are disposed of, they will efficiently and environmentally break down.

  • Every order comes with digital poster, postcard, and suggested email script files, so that you are supported in rolling-out the kits and communicating this service with your end users. Posters can be placed on the back of cubicle doors or in communal toilets and postcards can be placed wherever is most convenient or accessible. Our email script is intended to provide inspiration and start the communication process. We can also partner with you to come up with an implementation and communications plan specifically tailored to your needs.

  • We welcome requests for custom kits to tackle any challenging set of circumstances. Get in touch to discuss your needs and how we can help provide the best solution.

  • We offer discounts via our online shop. Orders of 13 boxes or more are eligible for a 10% discount.

  • Our kits are all about supporting women wherever they are achieving and striving. Some spaces or industries may utilise the kits more than others. The best process is to check regularly - just like supplies of soap or toilet paper - as part of standard facilities' management practices. The great thing is that our products have a long shelf life - 5 years, in fact! So, there's no need to waste any unused items. We also provide swift delivery, so you won’t be caught without.

  • We ship Australia-wide and internationally too. Our shipping rates are automatically calculated via our online shop and are dependent on shipping destination and size of order.

  • We understand how awkward it can sometimes be to raise these issues with peers, managers, or co-workers. We also deeply understand the need for period support in the home, the workplace, the classroom - everywhere. That's why we've tried to make our website as informative as possible. Sharing some of the information, statistics and truce stories may be a way of getting through to decision makers in your sphere. If all that sounds too daunting: fear not! We got you. Just get in touch via our contact page and we'll approach the big wigs for you.

  • Shipping will vary depending on order quantity. For example, multiple boxes will be put on a pallet to save costs. 1 x box will be approx. $60 for all Eastern States capital cities. We are happy to use your preferred shipping company and have no markup on shipping. If you believe you can get a better rate with a preferred supplier, we can arrange it directly through them.

  • For every period care package sold we donate 100 period products to the Stars Foundation, who are dedicated to helping young indigenous women in the community. If your company is aligned to another organisation that you would like us to support, we are happy to discuss this further to align with your individual commitments to the community.

At For My Sisters, our community is at the heart of everything we do. That's why we're committed to paying it forward.
